This evaluations are very perfect with regards to the private sector. But in public sector this is not realistic. And also we have to re-evaluate the draw backs in traditional empoyee evaluations . The use of HR technology and modern systems as changed the patterns of evaluations. However I agreed with you ideas.

Being the part of Organization it is a right and also a responsibility of employee to evaluate their performance. If the employees are motivated for achieving goals, then they will surely improve their skills and knowledge after self performance evaluation. The best part is managers can do ,is lead the employees, motivate the employees and evaluate them in right way.

  14. As you mentioned in your article, what I understood is that there are four reasons why a performance evaluation should be implemented. First, the evaluation process should encourage positive performance and behavior. Second, it is a way to satisfy employees' curiosity about how well they are performing in their job. It can also be used as a tool to develop employees. Lastly, it can provide a basis for pay raises, promotions, and legal disciplinary actions.

  17. Every employee in the organization has a KPI to meet, and at the end of the financial year, they may be required to assess progress by analyzing previous year's achievements. Perfomance assessment will be used to carry out this procedure.
An employee may use a performance assessment to give positive comments as well as highlight areas for development. An employee and his or her boss might discuss and even construct a developmental (training) plan to help them enhance their abilities. Finally, it allows both the management and the employee to define long- and short-term objectives.
Thank you for providing such an interesting toipc.
Excellent work Sunith, and best wishes for your next blog articles.
